INTRODUCTION: This module introduces you to the use of X-rays in the study of gross anatomy. In this course we use x-rays to help you correlate 3-D gross anatomical structure with the 2-D representations generated by contemporary imaging techniques.
OBJECTIVES: When you have reviewed this material you should know what tissues may be distinguished on an x-ray and you should know the four basic rules for approaching an x-ray.
